Jeff's Journey will be a place where family and friends can come to get updates on our dad's condition and progress. We have a long road ahead of us and we hope that this blog can serve not only as a place for updates but also as a journal of strength and remembrance. We have faith in our Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ and we know that through our faith and perseverance our dad will be healed. Though we have been told that the chances are slim (1 in 200,000) that our dad will walk again, we will be by his side to help him beat those odds. Our dad will make it through this challenging trial and we will be there to help him every step of the way! We love you DAD & GRANDPA!!

We are thankful for FAMILY!

This is just a post to update you of the "goings-on" in our family. Here are some recent pictures. We have so much to be thankful for! August 2016- Present.

Nothing beats spending time at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

Sweet Aspen loves her daddy!

Ryan and his family went camping at Payson Lakes.

Tylee and Aliyah, cousins and best friends!

Family pictures at Wheeler Farm. It was definitely an adventure. Thank you Melinda for taking them for us! This link will take you to a few our favorite pictures!

The girls on the Green side (plus Grandpa Green) had a craft day. We missed everyone who couldn't come and can't wait to do it again next year! We had so much fun making our Halloween wreaths together and making fun memories!

Ryan tinkering with Jeff's wheelchair.

Ring around the rosies with Grandma!

Trouble with a capital T! Tylee climbing on Grandma's table when no one was was looking.

Fun picking out pumpkins and going through the corn maze!

Talon loves hanging out with Grandpa when he can't find any trouble to get into...

Julee had to have surgery to get a benign tumor (hemangioma) removed from the right side of her nose. It developed a large blood clot that almost blocked a major vein in her face and it was pushing on her facial nerve. It caused severe headaches, constant pulsing in her ears, and a lot of nose pain. The first picture shows the greenish swelling before surgery. She did well and is on the slow road to recovery without anymore headaches!

We have a tradition of going to Gardener Village every year before Halloween so we can see the witches and get some fun pictures. We like to go on a Sunday because it isn't nearly as busy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!! We love you!!!

Jeff had to be to Park City for some board meetings for the condo. Ryan's family tagged along to spend time with them and help when needed.

Brandi, Zach, and the girls carved pumpkins with Zach's family. The pumpkins came from his mom's garden!

Cherie and Blake had a big helper carving their pumpkins and picking out the seeds to roast!!

Happy Halloween everyone! We hope you were safe and had as much fun as we did!

The older grand kids had fun at their school parades.

Trick-or-Treating!

"Spiders coming out of Julee's incision"... Talon told everyone she had spiders coming out of her "infection" and Julee had to explain to a lot of concerned people that her incision was NOT infected. LOL

We had fun meeting at Clifton and Joyce Green's house for dinner after trick-or-treating on Jay and Peggy Page's street. We are grateful our kids have the opportunity to get to know their great grandparents! The kids decided to wind down with an episode of Paw Patrol after all the excitement.

Aspen and Kaisy

Aspen is now 6 months old! She's always smiling, loves real people food (not baby food), and sleeps like a champ. She can now sit up by herself for several minutes without falling over! (And as you can tell, she is adored by her big sisters!)

Cute Aliyah sitting in Grandpa's wheelchair. She loves her grandpa and is his big little helper!

Coloring time!!

Aunt Cherie calling Santa on speaker phone so the kids can hear his message. They are getting so excited for the holidays!

We will be posting an update soon from Jeff, please keep an eye out! Lots of love from our family to yours! Thanks for being patient and supportive!!
