Day 78, Monday Nov. 9
Part of the morning was spent outside working on transfers into and out of the truck again. Some are smoother than others, but overall Jeff and Annette are doing great!
Back to the room and Annette relaxed because of a headache while Jeff went to work on strength training.
After lunch Jeff got his hands dipped in paraffin wax again. His fingers are so stiff they don't like to straighten out at all. After the wax they are much more pliable.
They put a button on Jeff's toothbrush and he was able to do a dry run. In order to get every angle he has to turn it on and off several times and readjust it in his hands. It's a lot of work! In the picture you can see the toothbrush and the electric shaver that have been adapted for his use.
Roxanne brought Jeff and Annette dinner tonight: homemade mac and cheese! They said it was very good and it was great to visit with her. Roxanne walked Annette down to the car and they left at the same time.
Todd Jex came to spend time with Jeff tonight. He enjoyed the visit and great conversation.
We are so grateful for everyone who continues to visit and encourage our dad. It makes such a difference to have all of you involved and giving support. Jeff and Annette have so many amazing people in their network of family and friends and we are so thankful for all of you!
