Today marks the two week anniversary of Jeff's accident. It's been a very long and difficult two weeks. We are extremely happy to report that Jeff is in stable condition and if nothing changes he will be transferred out of the ICU tomorrow. That means more visitors at a time, more physical therapy, and more progress!
The physical therapy regimen will be extremely vigorous, for which Jeff is grateful. He says they told him it will be an 8 hour day, like a full time job. The doctors are all impressed by how motivated he is to get going.
They used a special board today to get him into a standing position for the first time and he did really well!

We are so thankful for everyone who has visited so far! His therapy will be on a schedule so it will be easier to schedule visitors once that's been established. Just give Annette a call to know when is best. Jeff and Annette look forward to the time they get with all of you!
As things have become more predictable and everyone now has the option to visit with our dad, we will only be posting updates every two to three days from here on out. If you ever have questions you'd like us to answer you can post it under the comments on this blog or contact Brandi or Julee.
Of course if anything big happens we'll post it! We're going to continue to track his progress on this blog for his benefit, our benefit, and anyone else who is interested. We are grateful for such a readily available way to keep everyone up to date and involved.
For everyone who has already given of their time, financial resources, and moral support... you have no idea how much you've helped us all. Words cannot express our gratitude!
