A lot was accomplished today at the hospital and at Jeff's home.
Jeff says that while he didn't crash this morning he still struggled with being very drowsy. Both he and Annette report that therapy is going really well regardless. He is able to roll himself over and is now sitting at the side of the bed for extended periods of time without help.
"It's amazing how much energy it takes to balance," said a very tired Jeff.
He has been struggling with a large amount of pain to the back of his head and neck. While he's taking pain medication it's been difficult to get the dosage and frequency correct. Too much and he's way too groggy. Too little and he's hurting so badly he can hardly function.
Between welcome visitors, therapy, and many other interruptions Jeff says he was able to get some much needed book work completed with the help of his brother Randy. While they worked on book work, Randy's wife, Tiffany, went with Annette to her house to help prepare it for the upcoming remodel.
A huge shout out to Alexa (Randy and Tiffany's daughter) for playing with Kaisy and Sierra today so that Brandi could help out at Jeff's house as well.

Between Annette, Tiffany, Brandi and Blake (Cherie's husband) the house & garage is pretty much ready for remodeling to begin. The four of them worked really hard and the Lord blessed them because they were able to accomplish so much in a short period of time. While Cherie desperately wanted to help out as well, she was unable to because she was taking care of Aliyah (3 months old), who has a cold and an ear infection.
A few things they will be starting on next week include widening specific doorways and redoing the front bathroom. Doors have already been ordered and we are well on our way to making things happen!
While we all wish this had never happened we cannot deny the many blessings that have come to pass because of it. The way our loved ones (family and friends alike) have rallied together for our dad is incredible.
On our own we would be lost. Because of all of your help, and the Lord's guiding hand, we are making strides each and every day towards healing and success.
The progress our dad is making brings us so much peace and comfort. We have been so blessed by his testimony and faith. Even when he's hurting and exhausted he still manages to say, "It was a good day."
