Jeff woke up feeling better today than he has for a while. We were slightly apprehensive to know how he'd feel after our excursion into the world yesterday and we are pleasantly surprised!
Jeff says that because he felt so good he was able to work harder in therapy than he ever has before. In fact, after the second session his neck hurt so badly that he needed a pain pill. It did the trick in no time and he was comfortable the remainder of the day.
Jeff reports, "Today was filled with the normal stuff. I'm feeling better and better each day. I hope it keeps up and continues to trend in this direction, but only time will tell."
It's so encouraging to be able to physically feel improvements from one day to the next and we are so thankful for it!
We need to give a shout out to Mike Praag and his crew. They cut all the bushes down and winterized Jeff and Annette's yard for us. Annette hasn't been able to see their handiwork yet because she leaves before the sun is up each day and then gets home after dark, but we are confident they did an excellent job and we are so grateful for their hard work! One less thing to worry about.
Josh came to spend the evening with our dad tonight. They spent their time talking about Josh's recent Moab trip among other things. It's always special for our dad to be able to spend time with Josh. They've forged an even deeper friendship through this journey and we are indebted to Josh for all he's done for us.
Short and sweet today. We had so much fun yesterday, more improvement today, and much to look forward to tomorrow. We are so blessed!
